The Master Photographers Association

Over the past 40 years, the MPA has become established as a leading British and international professional qualifying association for photographers, particular those who are self-employed or run businesses personally. There is a strong emphasis on training for better business practice and the association arranges substantial national promotions for its members, normally in conjunction with major newspapers.

Membership is restricted to full-time working professionals, and all members must submit a successful application for Licentiate (basic level) status within six months of first joining. Further qualifications are Associateship and Fellowship, awarded by critical examination of submitted work.
