The EL 500 is a compact studio monobloc flash head made by Elinca S.A., Lausanne, Switzerland. Its advantages are light weight, fast recycling, short flash duration and continuously variable independent flash and modelling power sliders. It also has a switchable slave cell sensitive to most infra-red triggers.
